Baldwyn School District 2021-22 Q & A 

When is Back to School Pre-Registration?

Student registration for the 2021-2022 school year will take place July 26-29, 2021 (Monday - Thursday) from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at each school (BES, BMS, BHS). Parents/guardians will go to the school office to complete registration paperwork. Registration paperwork is available to view, download, print, and complete soon this week at the links below:

Do I have to provide proofs of residency?

Two proofs of residency will be required upon registration. Please see the registration packets at www.baldwynschools.com for acceptable proofs. 

Will there be school supplies needed?

Will students use iPads this year? 

Yes, iPads will be passed out to students by their teachers once school begins. 

Will there be any fees this year?

The technology fee ($25) per student will be paid at registration.

Will there be an Open House to meet the teachers?

Open house will take place Monday, August 2, 2021, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at each school. If you have any questions, please contact your student's school.

Will masks be required? 

Masks will be optional for students, staff, and visitors for the 2021-22 school year. 

Will my student have the option for virtual learning this year?

SUSPENDED: Until further clarification is provided by MDE on developing state-mandated online learning regulations, the Baldwyn School District will currently NOT have a 100% virtual (online) option for our students for the 2021-2022 school year.  

Will my student receive free meals again this year?

Yes. All students K-12 will have free breakfast and lunch meals provided for the 2021-22 school year. Please complete a new application for the 2021-22 school year to have your student’s information available to process in our system. Click the link below for further instruction.

What will the dismissal time be this year?

BES: 

First Bell (students must be at school in class): 7:40 a.m.

Dismissal Bell: 2:15 p.m.

BMS:

First Bell (students must be at school in class): 7:30 a.m.

Dismissal Bell: 2:15 p.m.

BHS:

First Bell (students must be at school in class): 7:30 a.m.

Dismissal Bell: 2:15 p.m.

All Schools: Remedial Hour- 2:15-3:15 p.m.
